Summer Sunrise

It has been unseasonably warm the past couple of days so we have been sleeping out on the deck at night.  The kids think seeing the stars is “so cool!”  This morning there was a very unusual looking sunrise, so I just had to get up and go get the camera and take a few shots.

This shot here is the very first one I took and it is unretouched other than cropping and adding the frame.

I have to admit I am not a cheerful early riser, but sunrises like this make it a whole lot less painful.
